Adult Art Class - Mixed Media Woodlands

Adult Art Class - Mixed Media Woodlands Another great class at the 'Old Court Hse' in Princes Risborough, saw us experiment with mixed media on the theme of Woodlands, before attempting them from the real thing in our beautiful surroundings.

Art At The Office

Art At The Office Had a great portrait painting day at 'Telefonica Digital' in London, where I had the pleasure of meeting/working with a great team. We discussed portrait painting from different art movements and focused on 'Anders Zorn' 3 colour palette. A trip to the NPG for more inspiration before engaging with our mirrors. Impressionism, fauvism, pointillism, dadaism... we had them all nailed. Watch out BP awards 2016!!! Brilliant day Oli White, thanks for an amazing opportunity!

Children's Art Class - Neutral venue

Our subject matter was fruit and we observed light, shape, and tone using a spot light aimed at just one side of our composition. Compressed charcoal was our medium and the children produced some amazing observational drawings. We then looked at Paul Cezanne's colourful Still Life paintings before we attempted our own.

Art Group - Longwick School

Art Group - Longwick School We looked at perspective using a road and houses as our theme. We discussed how parallel lines go to the same vanishing point on the horizon line. It was a tricky one for the children to understand, but they grasped it, with the help of Lawrence Stephen Lowry. Keep up the great work!!
